From Fushimi Inari Shrine, we took the JR Line back to Kyoto Station. Tonight, we decided to explore the nearby AEON Mall and had our dinner there.
When we first saw Aeon Mall, it reminds us of the Aeon Malls where we used to frequent in JB. As it's 7pm, we decided to look for a dinner place. There is a food court called Food Forest in the mall and without much hesitation, we went in to see what the stalls had to offer.
One thing I realized that to a Japanese, a meal combo meant for 1 person with both Fried Rice and Ramen is pretty common. Though the portion is not small, I managed to finish them because they tasted really good. After dinner, we started exploring the mall. There were many interesting shops where Jerlene and Javier cannot resist to skip. One of which is the Capsule Toy Store full of Gacha machines.
Another shop of interest is the Gundam shop. Finally, we came to an arcade game shop and both Jerlene and Javier got their hands dirty on the Chunithm machines. It is a very popular arcade rhythm game developed and published by Sega.
I know Jerlene is good at such rhythm game but I did not expect her to be such a pro! She managed to get Full Combo for one of the harder songs. Watch the video below to see the master at play!
