We were here in Namba about 15 years ago when Jerlene was 1+ years old while Javier was still in Mommy's tummy. You may read my posts on our previous trip to Osaka by clicking the link
here. The below building (Namba HIPS) looks very familiar to me due to its unique architecture.
One thing we like about this place are the sign boards, especially those of food outlets. You can see huge Dragons, Octopus, Crabs etc everywhere along the shopping street.
There are two popular shopping streets here, namely Ebisubashi and Shinsaibashi.
As we walked through the shopping street, at one point we arrived at the well-known Dotonbori River, where everyone will come here to take pictures with the famous Glico Running Man.
Other than the many food options, there were also quite a number of shops with Gacha machines. This got both Jerlene and Javier super excited.
We had a quick lunch at Yoshinoya, which is a more budget food option. Cheap and good.
We continued to explore the area and as evening approached, the place got more and more crowded, especially on Edisubashi Bridge across Dotonbori river.
