We checked in to our accommodation for the coming 3 nights at BON Kyoto Station. It's about 10 minutes' walk from Kyoto Station. It's an apartment located in a quiet residential area. The room that we stayed comes with two double beds and a sofa bed.
The bathroom and WC are separated which was great.
As we got a ground floor apartment, we had a private garden as well.
There is a Family Mart convenience store just few minutes' walk away. We bought our breakfast for the next day from the store every night. :-)
Btw, we could withdraw cash from the ATM in Family Mart using our YouTrip card which was extremely useful. It was quite unexpected that in such a developed country, many stores and attractions do not accept credit cards.
