15 Nov 2023 - Osaka Day 6: Lunch at Tempozan Marketplace

We left Kaiyukan Aquarium at around 1:30pm.  We then walked over to Tempozan Marketplace, which is just outside of the aquarium, for our lunch.  It is a large-scale commercial complex containing roughly 80 tenants such as fashionable restaurants with a view of the sea, a casual food court, unique fashion and jewelry shops, sundries, imported products, and more.

Naniwa Kuishinbo Yokocho is a food theme park, inside Tempozan Marketplace, recreating the nostalgic 1960s streets of Osaka. About 20 well-known, venerable Osaka eateries offer their fare, including okonomiyaki and curry rice. Local favorites such as doteyaki and ikayaki are also available. Naniwa Kuishinbo Yokocho is excellent for sampling a wide range of Osaka cuisine. Admission is free.

We had our lunch at the food court, which offered more food choices.

After lunch, Jerlene and Javier could not resist the temptation of Gacha machines once again.

We had a great view of Osaka Bay and Port from the building.
