13 Nov 2023 - Osaka Day 4: Travelling from Kyoto Station to Osaka (Bentenchō)

After spending the past three days exploring Kyoto, we took a train from Kyoto Station to Osaka this morning.  We alighted at Bentenchō Station, which was where our accommodation (Art Hotel) will be for the upcoming three nights.

ART HOTEL Osaka Bay Tower is directly connected to Bentencho Station on the JR Osaka Loop Line and the Osaka Metro.  I will be sharing more about the hotel in the next post.

Japan's hotels are very strict in their check-in time and since we were early, we left our luggage at the hotel concierge and went for our lunch.  We walked out of the hotel and went to the nearby streets "hunting" for food.  We were a bit surprised that this part of Osaka is pretty quiet.  Below was the restaurant where we had our lunch, after following some recommendations from the internet.

Osaka Bay Tower is quite self-sufficient with many dining options and shopping services.  While waiting for our room check-in at 3pm, we visited a bookstore as well as did a bit of shopping at the supermarket and at Daiso.
