As we approached Umeda Sky Building, we saw beautiful reflection of the cloud on the building.
The Umeda Sky Building is a spectacular high rise building in the Kita district of Osaka. The 173 meter tall building consists of two towers that are connected with each other by the "Floating Garden Observatory" on the 39th floor. When we were there, we saw a super long queue of people at the observatory ticketing counter, and another long queue of people waiting to take the elevator up to the observatory. This was probably due to the weekend crowd. As such, we decided to give it a miss and just admired the unique building architecture.
We stayed around till the building lighted up after sunset at about 5:15pm.
We then slowly walked back to the busy streets in Umeda in a pretty cold weather. It's a different view when everything started to light up.
We had our dinner in one of the Japanese restaurants before returning to Namba area.
