After lunch at Hyden Town, we embarked on another long drive towards Margaret River. We took a break stop at Collie Town after driving non-stop for more than 3 hours. We drove around Collie Arboretum (a botanical garden devoted to trees) before making a stop at Soldier's Memorial Park.
The entrance gates were erected as a memorial to WWI soldiers, while the archway was built to celebrate the State’s Centenary in 1929.A Sacred Stone honours those members of the Aboriginal community killed in wars.
We then drove to a nearby Woolworths supermarket at Collie Central Shopping Mall to replenish some of our essentials.
