After lunch at Hyden Town, we embarked on another long drive towards Margaret River. We took a break stop at Collie Town after driving non-stop for more than 3 hours. We drove around Collie Arboretum (a botanical garden devoted to trees) before making a stop at Soldier's Memorial Park.
The entrance gates were erected as a memorial to WWI soldiers, while the archway was built to celebrate the State’s Centenary in 1929.
A Sacred Stone honours those members of the Aboriginal community killed in wars.
We then drove to a nearby Woolworths supermarket at Collie Central Shopping Mall to replenish some of our essentials.
