9 Jun 2023 - Perth Day 2: Wreckages and Wave Rock Airport

Before checking out of Wave Rock Resort, we decided to explore various interesting sites around Lake Magic.  Just a short drive from our villa, we came to some wreckages of a car and a bus.  There was no information about these wreckages on site and we could not find any info from the internet as well.

Next to the wreckages is an amphitheater.

At the north of Lake Magic, we saw another wreckage, and this time it was of a small plane.  We were able to walk all the way to the crash site.  Once again, we could not find any information about the site.

We continued our drive along the lake's perimeter and arrived at Wave Rock Airport.  The airport seemed empty but there was a nice Mustang parked outside it.

We had a final look of Lake Magic before checking out at the reception, which was located at Wave Rock Park entrance.

It costs $12AUD to park a visitor's car on site at Wave Rock.  You can make payment at the kiosk (below) in the car park.  However, for guest of Wave Rock Resort, the parking at Wave Rock car park was included.
