Other than Hot Pot, another popular dish is the Chongqing Xiaomian (重庆小面).
I ordered a spicy beef noodle while Tracy ordered a non-spicy dumpling soup. The spiciness in Chongqing was really at another level. :-)
We also ordered a cold dessert, and it was really good.
After dinner, we took the metro to Tushan station (涂山地铁站), from which we started our walk towards one of the better vantage points to watch the weekend drone show. Along the street, we saw many locals selling all sorts of stuff, such as clothings, fruits, eggs, live seafood and chickens/ducks.
After about 30 minutes of walking, we finally reached our destination. We were there about 1.5 hours before the start of the drone show but guess what, we were not the earliest. We read that it is very common for people who wanted to have a good spot to arrive 2-3 hours prior to the show.
As the sun slowly set, we had a nice view of Yangtze River (扬子江) with Chongqing Raffles City and Chongqing Grand Theatre as its backdrop. It was especially beautiful when the building across the river started lighting up.
Soon, the whole place was crowded with people, all patiently waiting for the drone show to start.
