After our visit to Fairy Mountain Grassland, our tour coach drove us back to the town for lunch. As we drove into the town, the architecture immediately shifted to Swiss-chalet-style buildings, sloped red-and-brown roofs, and European-inspired clock towers and streetlamps.
Sitting at an altitude of around 1,200 meters, this vibrant mountain town serves as the primary service hub for visitors exploring Wulong area. In fact, we were going to stay in a hotel in this town tonight. It was a pretty quiet and peaceful little town.We did not join in the group lunch. Instead, we found a nearby convenience store and bought cup noodles. The store owners were very nice. They volunteered to boil water for us and allow us to sit in the shop to enjoy the noodles. :-)
