13 Dec 2019 - Dubai Day 3: Camel Farm, Falcon Show and Camel Ride

Our next stop was a Camel Farm where we could get up close with the camels.  We were allowed to feed them with grasses too.

After we were done feeding the camels, it's time for the Falcon Hunting Show.  First the falcon trainer gave us some background about the bird.  Falcon is actually the national bird of UAE and in fact, it was printed on the Dirham banknotes.  We did not realize it until we heard from the trainer.

Then the actual Falcon Hunting Show began.  It was an amazing experience to watch a falcon hunting for its prey right in front of us.

After the show, we drove to a Bedouin Style Camp, which was our final stop of the desert tour.

Before entering the camp, we decided to go for the camel ride, which was included in the tour.

The ride was ok but we were caught by surprise when they camel suddenly got on its feet from a kneeling position.  At the end, we were caught by surprise a second time when the camel suddenly dropped itself back to the kneeling position.  What an experience it was.
