There are quite a number of pubs and bars on Costa Diadema.
One of the coming days, we will try out this outdoor warm jacuzzi pool.
There is also a small chapel on one of the upper deck.
Following is the discotheque where it will be very "happening" at night, especially for the teens.
Before the ship departs the port, all passengers and crews on board participated in a mandatory evacuation drill.
We departed Dubai port at about 1:30pm and on our way sailing to Muscat, Oman.
You may be wondering why Jerlene and Javier were with us and not in the kids club, where they used to be on Royal Caribbean cruise. The main reason is......the language. When we registered Javier for the kids club yesterday, we were told that they do speak English. However, after one session, Javier did not enjoy it at all because most of the other kids do not speak English. It seems like on Costa cruise, which is an Italian cruise line, most of the passengers are European (Italian, Spanish, French, German) and English is not their primary language. In fact, most of the on board announcement were done in Italian first, before they followed with a brief English one.
We then proceeded to the theatre where a briefing about the ship and shore excursions were being conducted.
After the briefing, we went for some shopping on board.
