14 Dec 2019 - Dubai Day 4: Last look of Dubai Mall before going on our Cruise

After spending three nights in Roda Al Murroj Apartment, we checked out this morning and left our luggage with the concierge.  As the check-in time to our upcoming 7 days cruise was in the afternoon at about 3pm, we still had some time to explore more of Dubai Mall for the last time in this trip.
After we had our breakfast at the food court, we began to explore more of Dubai Mall.  As we walked past a row of shops, we got attracted to several walls which are interactive with a QR code.  Javier immediately took out his phone and scanned it.  His phone then got connected to the screen on the wall as a game was launched.  Both Jerlene and Javier spent the next 15-20 minutes trying to outscore each other.
On another wall, it was a football game where Javier and me challenged each other from the penalty spot.
Next we proceeded to the Souk alley.
At the end of the alley, we arrived at an atrium where we saw a massive 155-million-year-old dinosaur skeleton on display.  This prehistoric dinosaur remains are from the late Jurassic period and stands almost eight metres tall and stretching nearly 25 metres.  Nearly 90 per cent of the fossil’s bones are original, which is very rare.
We spent the next hour or so visiting the other interesting sights around the mall before returning to our apartment to collect our luggage.
We took the transport to Port Rashid Cruise Terminal arranged by the apartment.  The journey is about 20 minutes.
Along the way, we saw the famous Dubai Frame, an architectural landmark in Zabeel Park.  It is described as the biggest picture frame on the planet while some say it is the biggest stolen building of all time as it stands at 150.24 m (493 ft) and 95.53 m wide.
Soon after, we were able to see our cruise ship with a prominent letter "C" on its yellow chimney at a distance.
