We had a beautiful sun rise view from the cruise outdoor deck as we were approaching Port Rashid in Dubai.
Familiar buildings such as the Dubai Frame and Burj Khalifa were visible gradually from a distance.
We had our last few rounds of Foosball before getting off the ship. After one full week of daily "training", I must say both Jerlene and Javier had improved their foosball skills tremendously.
Our ship docked at the cruise terminal at about 8am but we had chosen to disembark at 10am so that we did not have to rush through our breakfast.
After collecting our luggage at the cruise terminal, we walked towards the taxi stand. There was a super long queue at the stand. We queued for about 30 minutes before we managed to get on a taxi.
The coming year will be very busy for Dubai, UAE, as it will be hosting Expo 2020, the world's greatest show. We could see posters of Expo 2020 everywhere in Dubai. Lots of construction are currently going on in preparation for the events.
Anyway, we took the taxi to Festival City Dubai to spend the rest of the day before going to the airport for our flight home later that night.
