18 Nov 2022 - Day 5: (Victor Harbor) Exploring and Having Lunch at Victor Harbor Town

We arrived at Victor Harbor town after a 45mins drive from Cape Jervis.  It was about 1pm when we reached so we decided to have our lunch before we began exploring the town.
Victor Harbor is a town in the Australian state of South Australia located on the south coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula, about 82 kilometres south of the state capital of Adelaide.  It's a popular destination by Adelaide locals looking to escape the summer heat during summer holiday.
Below is the Victor Harbor Railway Station, built in 1925.  This Railway Station is unique in being the only one of this design in South Australia.  The Cockle Train operates between Victor Harbor and Goolwa all year round on Sundays and Wednesday.  As it's a Friday today, we did not get to see the Steam Locomotive.
However, there is a replica of the Steam Locomotive at a nearby park.
A popular site for visitors to Victor Harbor is Granite Island, which is connected to the mainland by a short tram/pedestrian causeway.  The tram service is provided by the Victor Harbor Horse Drawn Tram, one of the very few horse-drawn tram routes remaining in public transit service.  As Jerlene and Javier just recovered from motion sickness, we decided to skip the walk to the island.  Furthermore, we had a long drive to cover to our next destination.
Victor Harbor is a small town with a population of about 15,000.  We can drive around the town in less than 10 minutes.  Our next destination is the nearby town, Goolwa.
