The first stop in Flinders Chase National Park is Bunker Hill Lookout. It is awesome to see endless bushland with eucalyptus trees. What is really amazing is that Flinders Chase National Park was devastated by the Kangaroo Island bushfires in January 2020 and about 98% of the park was burnt during the fires. And after 3-4 years, you realize how incredible nature is in its ability to recover after such destruction.
From the lookout, we were able to see South Australia’s most Instagrammed Road (Cape Du Couedic Road) going off into the distance.Soon after driving off from Bunker Hill Lookout, we found ourselves driving on Cape Du Couedic Road itself. This road will lead us to all the other main attractions in Flinders Chase National Park.
