21 Nov 2022 - Day 8: (Grampians) Lake Bellfield

We were back at Halls Gap in the late afternoon and visited Lake Bellfield, which is located five kilometres from the main shops in Halls Gap.

This is a popular tourist spot with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and reflective waters.

The lake serves as the local water supply, therefore only electric motors are permitted.

Lake Bellfield supplies water to Halls Gap and Pomonal. It's also the main source of supply for the Wimmera Mallee Pipeline system, supported by Taylors Lake.
