18 Nov 2022 - Day 5: (Meningie) Amazing Cockatoos and Rainbow

After dinner, we decided to drive to the lake for some pelicans viewing.  On our way, we passed by Meningie Oval, home of the Meningie Football, Netball and Cricket Clubs.

Javier's eyes were very sharp and spotted a huge patch of white in the middle of the field.  Initially, we thought they were pelicans and decided to drive into the Oval to have a closer look.  As we approached the field, we realized that they were actually hundreds of Cockatoos!

This was totally unplanned and what a pleasant surprise, all thanks to Javier's eagle eye. :-)

Other than the amazing Cockatoos, we had another pleasant surprise, a rainbow appeared right before us!  What a beautiful sight!
