We checked in to Kangaroo Island Cabins, our accommodation for the next 2 nights on Kangaroo Island, at about 4:30pm. We booked a Two-Bedroom Cottage which features a patio and a kitchen with a stove and an oven. It includes a flat-screen TV and a DVD player.
One bedroom has a bunk bed and the other has a double bed.
Set on 20 acres of wide-open spaces, this is home to a variety of Australian wildlife. After we checked in, we immediately saw a herd of sheep grazing at the nearby grass patch. And from our cabin, we were able to see some wild wallabies through our bedroom windows.
