19 Nov 2022 - Day 6: (Mt Gambier) Valley Lake Conservation Park
From the Blue Lake, it's just a short drive to Valley Lake Conservation Park.
Visitors are welcome to explore the park, featuring a wide array of indigenous flora and fauna species, at no charge.
Valley Lake Wildlife Park features lookouts, a beautiful boardwalk and a number of nature walks. We took a nice and relax stroll through the park.
We managed to see much wildlife including Wallabies and Kangaroos.
We even witnessed two kangaroos doing "kickboxing" for the first time.
The area has picnic facilities for families, where there are covered shelters, outdoor barbecue grills and picnic tables.
The park also has exclusive parking facilities for visitors as well as other amenities including public toilets, a public phone, sheltered rest area and bus parking spots.
