19 Nov 2022 - Day 6: (Tantanoola) Woakwine Range Wind Farm Tourist Drive

As we were driving from Robe to Mount Gambier, we decided to take a slightly longer route via Woakwine Range Wind Farm Tourist Drive.  We did not regret taking this route as it enables us to see all the wind turbines that are very close to the road. 

We even drove into one of the farm gates where the wind turbines are just next to us.  We had been to several wind farms during our past trips, but this farm has the most wind turbines.

The giant turbines, which dominate Woakwine Range, are clean and green. Strong coastal winds from the Southern Ocean make this a perfect site for wind turbines.
