As it's a long drive from Mount Gambier to Halls Gap at Grampians (about 2.5 hrs), we refueled our car at the gas station after checking out.
We had been checking the weather at Grampians and was a bit worried because it showed that the highest temperature in the coming few days was about 10°C during the day and close to 0°C during the night. This was unexpected because we thought it's supposed to be summer soon. Just to play safe, we went to a nearby Big W store and bought more clothing, including a windbreaker.
As it's still early, most of the shops were closed but the larger stores such as Big W, Woolworths, Coles, Kmart and Target were opened.
After driving for about 2 hours, we finally saw the mountains in Grampians ahead of us. We will be exploring Grampians today and tomorrow.
