26 Dec 2025 - KHH Day 6: Hanshin Arena Shopping Plaza (漢神巨蛋購物廣場)

We took a Uber ride from Dragon and Tiger Pagodas to Hanshin Arena Shopping Plaza, where we had our dinner.

Hanshin Arena Shopping Plaza opened on July 10, 2008, with a total interior floor area of about 100,000 m2 (1,100,000 sq ft). It has been the shopping mall with the highest annual revenue in Kaohsiung since 2012.

The mall is located next to the Kaohsiung Arena (高雄巨蛋), which was opened in the same year. It is used to host indoor sporting events. Local people give the nickname of Kaohsiung Arena as the Big Egg due to its shape and resemblance of an egg.

We then took a stroll towards Ruifeng Night Market.
